The Bee Keeper

I was lucky to come across this lovely man, tending to his Bees.   He said he had other hives but this was a new colony he was putting together.   He was kind enough to tell me all about it, explaining that his Queen had died from old age and he had to buy a new one.    Knowing nothing about this I asked 'How do you get a Queen?" to which he replied, "You can buy them for around £30."     It's surprising what you learn when out 'blipping'.
