Violet in September

At the beginning of Sepember I found a Cowslip growing all alone in my gravel - see HERE!  It is still in bloom, but not alone now  -  it has been joined by a Violet!!!  Both are Spring flowers - poor things are rightly confused by this year's weather.  It's a sunny day here but blowing a gale  -  I had to take loads of shots to make sure I captured it during a still period.
