Sea of Red

After staying the night in central Manchester, we spent the morning wandering around in the centre before moving to Media City at Salford Quay for the afternoon.

What we didn't realise (until we spotted it outside a pub on Friday) was that there was a Manchester Derby - United vs City - at Old Trafford early afternoon.  Rather than shy away from the area we went anyway, and took the chance to get some shots of people in red streaming across a bridge.

There was a wedding going on at the Lowry, so we even caught the bride and groom intermingling with the remnants of the football supporters.

We had a good day, taking a walk around a park lake before having dinner at a Beefeater and then driving back home.
