A Thousand Enjoyments

I bought the fuschia for the hummingbirds and added the bacopa for a contrast in color, shape and growth habit. The combination has been a delight in my container garden this summer. 

This morning I watched a Towhee take a long bath with lots of splashing, and that is the extra photo. 

It was glorious day today. We sat for a long time taking in the morning sun. Slowly I am beginning to feel better. It's been a 3/2 day...three hours of wake time to two hours of sleeping. It's been many years since I've been knocked down by a cold, and I appreciate my health.
