Couldn't give a fig
A tiring day as I'd been up late working on a document, but in the office I had the vague sensation that the workload may ease off in the coming weeks after a stressful summer. Skipped yoga in favour of sitting on my bum and then had a lovely late pizza eating session with the divine Helen Mulligan, discussing the minutiae of life.
A lunchtime spot of wall sitting with Hannah and some fresh figs bought from the market; one of which is now in my fridge. I find the thought of cutting up a rarely eaten piece of fruit more daunting than navigating the wilds of Uzbekistan. And I'm not even exaggerating. But the fig won't defeat me.
