Alderberries or Holunderbeeren in German

Here the berries have a light blue shine, while in Germany they are nearly pitch black. You can wipe the light shine off and then you have the same pitch black berries. I am in Southern Oregon, have been on the road the whole day - well, minus packing and unpacking the car - and had booked a room in a dog friendly house. Not really bed and breakfast, there is no breakfast, but there is everything available in case you want to make a breakfast/lunch/dinner your self. I thought it would be near Klamath Falls, but I was a sloppy map reader. The house is 45 minutes away from Klamath Falls, totally isolated on 130 acres of beautiful wild land. It wasn't easy to find. In the extra I show you the last light with a little moon . It is the view from the house which was an old homestead from the mid eighteen hundreds. Who knows, maybe I will be lucky and see some wildlife tomorrow.
Maggie was a great traveler as always. It is just the two of us this time. Besides one other dog owner the house is empty which promises a good night of sleep.
