Mogs and Rock-ers

We set off from our friends this morning starting our journey home. We're staying tonight in Luxembourg.

We called in to the Unimog museum on the way, a recommendation from our friends. Unimogs are multi-purpose, all wheel drive vehicles produced by Mercedes Benz. They are adapted to all sorts of uses and have been in production since the 1940s. The visit included a lunatic passenger ride over a short course that included impossible gradients and obstacles vehicles just shouldn't be able to maneuver over or around - great fun (see Annie hiding under one in the extras).

Then it was back on the autobahns for a blast up to Luxembourg. You quickly get used to travelling considerably faster than the UK speed limits on these derestricted roads, it feels quite odd when you suddenly come back to 70mph.

Before stopping at our hotel, we visited the Teufelsschlucht (or Devil's Gorge). It has spectacular rock formations hidden away in some pretty woods, lovely to walk around. The rocks were mainly in shadow so I (Chris) had to make the most of a steady hand and some higher ISO to get a crisp image for the blip.
