Hebrew Union College Skirball Museum

I find this piece of art very interesting because to me I don't see a flower outside of what looks like a jail. I see a flower trapped somewhere, and it can't get out and grow. This museum was filled with wonderful art pieces, and artifacts from the Jewish culture. This picture ties connection with the Holocaust, which is why I think the flower being trapped is in comparison to a Jew in a concentration camp. Something that has so much beauty and potential to change someone's day and spread joy but can't because it's trapped.
