St.Mary's Church

I personally love this picture because of the repetition of the pews. It gives the picture a sense of depth and makes the picture come to life. While visiting this cathedral I really enjoyed seeing the paintings. I loved how the ceiling looked three dimensional. I also thought it was interesting that what appeared to be marble wasn't actually marble, but instead wood painted to look like marble. This church reminded me of home because I'm used to being inside of a Catholic Church. The stain glass also reminded me of the cathedrals I saw while in France.
