All Aboard

On this fascinating research trip... today it was a vairiety of sea going vessels across the ages. Idea is to paint them around the chunk of wood (extra) which was a beach find.... to go with one of my St Mary poems...

A church on a hill
cannot be hidden

both must have passed
 
Masts of Armada
and Hadrian’s hoard
 
Romans of Gaul
poets and Lords
 
Our lanes have rung
with songs from them all
