lesmurdie falls
Tumbling down the Darling Scarp from the hills east of Perth to 'the flats', it's lovely to see and hear a decent flow of water.
The falls remind me of the Grey Mare's Tail, a hanging valley waterfall in the Sottish Borders, Moffat Valley. What a bonny place that is with a scant path up the valley (or it was back in the 80s), an occasional glimpse of mountain goats perilously perched on the valley side and a freezing cold pool in which the brave and probably foolish, once had a dip.
