Last hurrrah

Final day of the summer.... It has come far too quickly for our liking. In the words of that well known monarch "we are not amused". We've had a good day though. We finished off the summer book challenge sheets and went to get her medal.
We sorted out photos for her scrapbook. We had a fantastic time doing egg splat painting. So much fun. We popped to B's to get granny some sweet peas and got a lovely new batch of raspberries too. She did lots of piano. And mid afternoon Granny & Grandad arrived! Katie had
Requested to go for a walk on the pasture in the woodlands. It was a good decision. We had fun in the sunshine, played on rope swings, ate blackberries, took lots of photos- I had bought katie a disposable camera and shes very keen to use it!

Tea was homemade soup and then the crumble she's been looking forward to. But it was straight to bed after- I Went to help granny and granddad load the van and she was asleep before I came back in
