Slime Time

A lovely day! After my Pilates class this morning, I came home to find the garden full of butterflies. Butterflies have been like buses this Summer - you don't see any for months, then... We had 6 species simultaneously. Small White, Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Painted Lady (see extras).
Later, I went to Longshaw, and took a few photos including these lovely little sausages on sticks - a slime mould, probably from the genus Arcyria. then on to our annual barbecue at Edale.
