Sun Giant
I've nicked the title from the Fleet Foxes track...that band reminds of living in Paris...
We've had a full day looking after Rudy...poor Thea is really unwell. We've been to 2 parks, the aquarium, had a picnic, watched a movie, eaten dinner, danced...and now everyone's tired! But Asha, Danny and I fitted in a sunset walk before she crashed out. Sat on a warm wall and watched the sun disappear behind the hills...they're laughing in the linked photos as they were having a joke-off....Asha’s were hilariously bad!
Also, extreme weather warnings out here - 38.5 yesterday, 39 today...plus humidity...sweltering is the only word!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Was in an Internet café earlier...i've not been in one since I was in Ghana 12 years ago! The phone booths, and computer booths brought back lovely memories of calling Danny and family...
2) Seeing how much the kids loved the aquarium...loved seeing them get excited over spotting various sea creatures!
3) Hearing that Thea is slowly on the mend.
I'm adding a 4th! Ending the day peacefully and quietly with Danny and Asha...we're going to work at keeping an evening walk together as part of our family routine. Even just 15 minutes makes a difference!
