Strange flower!

A sunny warm day greeted us and so after breakfast we went for a 3 1/2 hour hike on a nature reserve right across the road from the house.   Low scrubby landscape, with magnificent views of the ocean.   the trail took us thro this amazing assortment of flora...one of which was this strange looking flower...i'm think some kind of orchid...if anyone recognizes it please let me know.   The return part of the hike was spectacular...see extras!   I can't help but see the similarities between the rocky shores of Nova Scotia and Scotland....makes sense i know!

Off into Halifax in the late afternoon for some art supplies.....that was fun.   Then down by the harbor, which was a very busy place, it being the long weekend here.   But we managed to find a very funky beer garden and tested a couple of craft beers, they were great!   We decided to just do some shopping and take advantage of having a kitchen to ourselves.   Terry decided on lobster!!!   So we headed back to our little home and cooked up a delicious feast of veggies and fresh lobster!  OMG it was out of this world!
