Life goes on

Life goes on here at Davao despite the recent bombing incident last Friday. This photo was taken while i was crossing Quimpo Blvd on my way to the bank. The heat was draining! I survived though.

Today was mostly errands for my laptop purchase. I had to go all the way to the office (1.5hrs away from the city centre), go back to the city centre (2 hrs because of traffic due to police checkpoints) and deposit the computer loan cheque to my bank then go back home to order my Macbook Air online. The heat was exhausting but i was finally able to successfully order my laptop. The sad thing is that I will have to wait until end of October or early November for the laptop to arrive since it will have to be assembled from scratch according to the Apple representative I had the chance to chat with earlier.
