Leamington Food and Drink Festival 2015

This photo pretty much sums up everything you can see in this year's festival. Food stalls, booze stalls, music playing at the bandstand, children, adults and pets alike walking about Pump Room Gardens.

Desi and I had  a wonderful stroll up and down, down and up the gardens, trying all possible free food that we can. There were free cheeses, chutneys, various dips, crackers, cheeses, chocolates, cheeses, desserts,  and did i mention cheeses?? Yep we had cheese overload today and I wasnt able to resist buying a 3gbp Spicy Cheese.

I got to the venue early and was able to buy two 1GBP tickets for the taste trail. Unfortunately, they ran out of the ones that I would have wanted to visit (Seasons and Restaurant 23) so Desi and I ended up at Deli Diner which had a very nice Banoffee but a terrible terrible service. They werent rude but they were utterly disorganized as if they were about to end their shifts when in fact Desi and I were one of the very first customers of the day. It was just a quid anyway, so we cant really complain. When we got back at the festival, i got to try throw dough! Im pretty impressed with myself that i could still do it after more than 20 years!!! The guy demonstrating how to "throw the dough" was as impressed as i was. haha!

Dropped by Waterstones to buy a book and got my tickets for Cambridge  before heading back to Minty while Desi went straight to her place as well.
