David Stirling Memorial
Sir David Stirling was the founder of the Special Air Service (SAS) in 1941. He was brought up at the House of Keir near Dunblane. This memorial stands on a small hill between Bridge of Allan and Doune and commands an impressive view towards Ben Ledi where the sun was setting spectacularly this evening. The memorial also bears the names of SAS members killed in a range of conflicts
