And so a restful morning; breakfast, some light chores and then out into a decent warm day; supermarket (nearest), then Craigleith for skirts for her lass; Asda for the bits not got from the 1st supermarket and off to hers.
She stowed shopping, I dismantled the bed and off out we went again. First to Craigentinny to pick blackberries; plenty to be had.
And then having deposited them back at hers, out once more. This time to sit a while in the Meadows in pleasant if not scorching sunshine.
Eventually the sun went - fortunately coinciding with the return of her children, so off I went; homeward.
To make jam and cake. And see how far I could get cobbling together a Cigs book (answer: about a week and a half.)
With 2 cycling races to watch, I only half watched the Tour of Britain; now the Vuelta awaits me if I can stay awake long enough.
