Hackfall Woods

This morning we explored Hackfall Woods between Grewelthorpe and Masham in North Yorkshire.
We cycled past this place on Friday and decided it was worthy of some exploration. There are numerous paths through the woods which follow a curve of the River Ure.
These two shots were taken alongside a small stream flowing into the Ure.
Unfortunately I did not have my tripod, so had to resort to bracing myself against a nearby tree, or balancing the camera on a fallen tree stump to get steady(ish) shots. (I subsequently spotted I had my ISO down at 160 which didn't help!)
