Shag on a Rock

This REALLY IS a Shag on a rock!!  This fella was sunning himself in the lake at the Botanical Gardens late this afternoon.  It has been another glorious day in Bundaberg and CCN and I decided it was time to visit the gardens again.  It truly is one of Bundaberg's best kept secrets.

I have added an extra of one of the Pelicans who was also sun baking and this ones for Old Timer.  It was only last year that we were both visiting Bundaberg visiting family at the same time and we had our own mini blip meet.  It was a great day and we ended up at the gardens having a whale of a time with the amazing birdlife that abounds in the park.
