Day 9
Another glorious day driving through the rich farm lands of the Eyre Peninsular and we finally arrived at Streaky Bay. We have been looking forward to staying here since we drove through on our way to the west two and a half years ago. It is truly the most glorious area.
Our camp site is smack bang on the foreshore of the Bay, if we were any closer we would be camping in the water!! My image is of the jetty that runs for almost 400 metres into the bay and is a real feature of the town.
I've also added an extra of another Canola image (would you believe that!!) It was taken just after driving out of Coffin Bay this morning and it was a shot looking across a wonderful Canola field towards Coffin Bay in the distance.
It's so great to read everyone's comments and to know that so many of my blip buddies are enjoying coming along for the ride. I truly feel tonights image sums up our feelings about being able to relax here for four nights before heading off across the Nullarbor. I heard from my friend late tonight and they will be in camp with us tomorrow afternoon. It will be a great joy to meet up with Linley once again.
