Passion

The owner of this model traction engine fills the coal-bunker with finest anthracite ready to be spooned into the red-hot fire that heats the boiler and makes the steam.

The striking feature of this model is how tiny and how detailed each component is and that makes it unique and so authentic.

The occasion was Strathaven Agricultural Exposition. A great show of cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, crafts and 'industrial' (baking, jams and rural crafts). The steam engine was in the vintage machinery section.
