Green eyed monster....

A damp start again followed by a day of will it or won't it moments.
Took Patch to the vet with an injured foot. Meta calm and penicillin should do the job. Back home and tagged 21 calves in between keeping an eye on the straw down the road.
Took the lab back to the vets for his booster jabs and the terrier with an eye infection. She put dye in it and had a look but couldn't see any damage. It was a 2 man job to hold him still though!
Eventually got the contractor in to try to bale some big square barley bales tonight, but gave up after 1 load as the moisture content away up to 24%. So was home by 9 pm. The nights are fairly drawing in , it was dark by then !
