Gypsophila

I did that terrible thing of falling back asleep when TT left for work this morning.  I was never completely asleep, and was aware that BB had got up, but I woke up properly a little later than I would have liked.  However, BB still made it to school in plenty of time.

I had a piece of work to sort out and a couple of work phone calls to make.  Before I knew it, it was time to go off and meet a friend for a catch up over a cuppa, which was a lovely way to spend my morning.  She then headed to collect her daughter from school, but I headed home, as BB had told me that he didn’t want to be picked up.

He had no cello today, as he and a few classmates had been at a Junior Road Safety Officer event.  He was looking forward to the event, but mostly as they were travelling by taxi.  He came back with his badge and notebook and was very pleased with himself.

After lunch one of his friends called round for him and he went off to play football and I was very pleased that he came back when he was supposed to.  I used the time to do some long overdue housework.  BB and I then went into town for a couple of things and had a walk by the river.
