After the rain
Puck's Glen in Cowal is always a dramatic place, even on a sunny morning. This afternoon the burn thundered down the gorge so loudly that speech was impossible, and every one of its waterfalls was a new wonder. This one falls into a sizeable - and deep - pool set in a wider part of the glen; the water is the same colour as I had in yesterday's blip.
When we reached the top of the gorge the sun came out, but the drama of the walk had certainly been enhanced by the greyness - and, dare I say, by the rain?
