Felted

Full on Day Part 2. September is shaping up to be quite a month, I can see that.

So escapism is required. One of the things I would like to do when I have more time is to learn to draw/paint a bit. Until then, it will be the occasional doodle.

So that is my September 1st resolution, spurred on by this purchase at the Hampshire Open Studios event. It's a sketch book (nice paper), enclosed within a felted cover made by Sarah Waters. She is not the novelist, but she seems to know a bit about textiles (google sarahwaterstextiles if interested). 

You should of course not judge a book by the cover !
