Mantra

September is here. PMA from now onwards.

Today I've been in meetings the whole day which would usually be totally bad news but today has been wonderful. Percy Throwers this morning with my fellow Youth Ministry Network partner in crime, John. Planning into 2018 which is a slightly terrifying thought but I'm grateful that John has the confidence in me to trust that I've got what it takes to go the distance with YMN.

Then an afternoon with Dave M. The foundations of mine and Dave's friendship was cemented when we had to deal with naughty teenagers in our charge and have the kind of conversations that only parents should really have to have. We did it with much giggling. Dave and I are going to be collaborating on a little project soon which will involve real Ale and faith. I can't honestly think of a better man than Dave for this and again, I'm grateful for his trust and confidence in me.

This endless sitting around chatting left me in a weird state of my head being tired but my body being slightly hyperactive (can a body be hyperactive?). Thankfully, SS indulged me in a little walk after work even though it was her 'slump hour'. That's friendship.
