Wind in the feathers...
H and I decided to go have a row this morning after the rain…a bit windy but not too bad … until we were on the return and the wind whipped up and a huge wake swept past … Oh well, it provided some exercise and it’s been several days so I was happy to be out on the water. And we missed the rain… Lots of herons, seals, cormorants , guillemots and harlequins were spotted. I like this view of mister heron’s feathers blowing in the wind, (before it increased) and the head-on look with 2 eyes. (the extra is a harbor seal with an interesting sea star losing a leg.. not sure if it’s sick or not…but this is what they can do with the wasting disease.)
The family is still here —we did have some studio time , some went for an ice cream run in this crummy weather, the canine refused to go on her walk this am, and we’re looking forward to seeing the movie tonight (“the good, the bad and the girls”…)if it’s ready. :-)
this will be my entry for the WBC "Light" --that lovely light on those very light feathers blowing in the breeze.. :-)
