Friends

Tatum is trying to untangle her Friend A’s hair from the blackberry vines.    Yes, they are OUTSIDE…because, at about noon, our power went off.  The girls, instantly looked at each other from their beds- “where’s the wifi??” and as I expected were up to the cabin shortly after.  For their pancakes (fortunately the stovetop is gas…)  Too bad, we’ll have to take a walk.  :-)  Fiona was raring to go to take 2 new faeries up to the faerie circle to meet the Queen Faerie Zelda (extra) who asks them questions.   Guess they passed as they are now living there.  (the other extra photo, new faeries, “Fiona” , “Karina” (who has very special wings from California, strong lacy mossy stuff sent by blipper Wildwood!!!!, and Karina’s pet green pig, Katrina” - not sure how the pig gets to be there, but there are more coming…along with more faeries we are making…)  Thank goodness for little girls!


We got only a few blackberries but will add them to apples for a pie.  Friend A says she’s “never doing that again.”   (too prickly)  She is off tonight on the ferry to Pender Is. to join her parents at her grandparents house.  These best friends since kindergarten have had a wonderful time together.    Oh , the power was just back on when we got back from the hour plus walk…but I was happy to get my photo outside!  Only a bit of a sprinkle and still quite windy…And I haven’t seen them since……so this has to be the blip. :-)
