Arnaga, Cambo les Bains

The author Edmund Rostand created a sumptuous villa and amazing gardens that are now known as a little Versailles in Pays Basque. It was an ideal place to visit on this very hot afternoon (while the washing was drying) as we prepare to move to the midi Pyrenees tomorrow where, with luck, there may be some snow left on the mountain tops!
