Just for a change .. ..
.. .. .. it's raining sepia. Desperate measures today I'm afraid. This is the centre of a Rose of Jericho plant that when not watered closes up into a ball and in natural desert conditions rolls across the sand. Within minutes of being watered it opens out and new green growth begins to appear from the centre. An everlasting plant that can live for many years (if we don't drown it!)
