Red Admiral

We spent all day gardening. thankfully we were working in another part of the garden on reducing apple and crab apple trees which had become overgrown.

When we stopped for lunch it was impossible not to keep standing up and trying to catch butterflies on the buddleia. So, a few shots and then back to work!.

Edit: Just had an email from a photographer I met at an exhibition the weekend before last, she was a runner-up in the Country File Calendar competition and is to get her image printed small on a page with one of the winners. Great result out of 20,000 entries!
