The "Moo Crew" arrived at Inverness Campus this morning. The last of them being unloaded from a truck as I arrived.
They're a wee herd of five fibreglass cows, that have been decorated with designs submitted by school children from around Scotland. Part of a competition run by the supermarket chain Aldi, to promote the Scottish beef industry, and local sourcing. One of the chosen designs was by two pupils from the Inverness Royal Academy.
These beasts made their first public appearance at the Royal Highland Show, and staff from HIE (Highlands & Islands Enterprise, now based in the building in the distance) were involved in the arrangements to bring them here, for a few weeks, as was done with the visit of the Mini Kelpies, back in July.
It's good that this time the Arts and other Students will have a chance to see them, whilst they're here.
