Airbag

Picked up the hire car and after loading up with all the necessaries we set off for the south - well, Shrewsbury seems to regard itself as being in the West Midlands, but it's quite a bit south of here. The journey was uneventful - we just managed to skirt a huge band of black clouds and violent rainstorms that was moving across the country. Heard of a football match being abandoned to to torrential rain in Swindon.

We arrived at D & S's and went out with them for a pub meal in a village near Ironbridge. Turned out it was my old mate Bill Caddick's local and he was standing at the bar when we walked in. Lovely to see him and Katherine again. Had a good meal and then just found space for another pint in the George and Dragon in Much Wenlock - all human life seemed to be there. Excellent stuff!
