August Bank Holiday
We spent most of it travelling from Suffolk back home to Shropshire, an excellent journey and all in bright sunshine, great for a Bank Holiday in England!!
Yesterday's BBQ for friends of Mr T's #1 son and Sarah started off in sunshine and then black clouds came over sending down torrential rain showers and we spent most of the afternoon racing for cover, with food and drinks, every time one came over - the unkind weather didn't stop the enjoyment though.
We've really enjoyed our week in North Norfolk, Cambs and Suffolk but quite glad to be home for a few days before we depart again at the end of the week for our annual visit to the Shuttleworth Wings and Wheels event at Old Warden, Bedfordshire and staying with our good friend Shirley once again.
Our kind neighbour watered our garden whilst we were away, the sweet peas are still going strong and the Clematis Montana has a second showing of a few flowers.
