Heading home!

A great week on the coast with Kristy, Matt and the kids. A couple of appointments in Newcastle the n heading home. Although technically winter, today gave us a glimpse of summer. Today's blip is of Nobby's Beach looking towards the headland. In the time of settlement, the headland was much higher. The headland was originally an island that impacted on the wind pattern experienced by sailing ships entering the Newcastle Harbour. The landform between the mainland consists of the removal of the upper level of what used to be an island.
