Vegging Out

Mr. Badger vegging out in front of the tv after a long day of cleaning.

We cleaned my MIL's house for most of the day. We made a whole lot of progress and at this point, both floors are decluttered. I think the final count of trash bags removed from the house that day was 87, we guess that there were over 20 bags of donations, and we threw out the old couch and replaced it with a newer one from a family friend. Naturally it was ridiculously hot and humid out because why wouldn't we make it harder?!

MIL's cat Mezzo is also still living there and she's mostly just been hiding under the bed since there has been so much activity as of late. My MIL is in rehabilitation atm, so she won't be home for quite some time. She even admitted herself that she doesn't think she can care for her any longer. Mr. Badger and I are going to get her into the vet and see what we can do for her. Poor kitty. Poor Mil:( It felt good to help out but it was physically and emotionally draining.
