The 3 Cronies

Ok, I’ve upgraded these three from extra to full blip, for the record.  H, D and M.   They represent lots of education and over 100 years of good cancer care to their communities..(they are all radiation oncologists) .  a little scary?     D and M worked together for a time in the NW, but now M lives in Florida …but came to sail with D for a week.  H and M owned our first boat together for a few years (a Cal 27) and we sailed and camped with little kids a lot. Have also sailed on this boat  (J40)  before D’s wife, my good friend, died, too many years ago.   
The weather has turned very cool .. here they are leaving to go to the Montague Harbor fuel dock before setting off for an island anchorage north of here in this south wind.   I was watching for the boat to go past, with a sail up. ..    Thought I missed it.  Then I get a text from D saying that M fell in the water at the fuel dock!!  Hard to believe.!  Very cold.   But very entertaining for the marina I’m sure.   They eventually got where they were going, ( I didn’t see a sail) and managed a stern tie to shore.  We are wishing them luck this week!! .. and glad we are not there —it’s now started to seriously rain finally (4:30) just as H went out the door to help our neighbor put his ex wife's rowing shell away in the boathouse at high tide.   And we seem to have left our raincoats in Seattle this time! :-)

Fiona arrived here late morning in her underwear announcing that she was NOT going outside.  the rest of us have fuzzies or sweatshirts on. Inside.    The extra is her directing her Dad and sister to make some sort of video on her iPad. ...   Fi is so close to losing those 2 top teeth.
