Crops

A bit of down time today - two consecutive days at Longshaw, and I'm there again tomorrow. A few jobs done at home today - including booking a short wildlife break for November. I had a couple of hours out to pick some rowan berries and crab apples for one of my favourite preserves, then a short drive to see how some of the local crop fields were shaping up.This field was full of wood pigeons, obviously gorging on the ripe, but as yet unharvested crops.
