Goose step

Our last remaining grey Chinese Goose looks after a group of white Aylesbury ducks. He is always with them and here he is checking they are lined up in proper order.

More news on the goose front. Hoppy, our disabled white Chinese goose, is recovering from the loss of her partner, and today went for a splash in the paddling pool. She follows me everywhere which can be a bit disconcerting at times, and is now herself being followed by Barney the Barnacle goose, who seems to have decided to make her his new partner.

Maybe the single status of the geese is changing.
