Aldeburgh

Today was MIL's turn to celebrate her birthday!!

We drove through the beautiful countryside to Aldeburgh for morning coffee by the sea, a bit more shopping & wandering around by the beach & through the town in glorious sunshine.

The blip shows my favourite shot of Aldeburgh that I take every year!! I love all the different roof tiles & chimneys and this year both the sky & sea were BLUE :)

The extras show the large beach sculpture named "The Scallop" to celebrate the life of Benjamin Britten who came from Aldeburgh.
The cakes & meringues were eaten by Little Miss & me @ Afternoon Tea :-)
