Burst

The Fish Hook cactus are in bloom.  I always look forward to seeing these flowers.  While I was walking this morning I took notice of them in several yards.  I hadn't taken my camera with me so I had to go home to grab one.  The timing wasn't great because of the angle of the sun at the time.  The position from which I really wanted to shoot cast my shadow over the plants. So this was the best angle.
