Going - and returning

The children were so excited about going to the beach in the camper van, and we were blessed with one of the sunniest and warmest days we've had this year. There was no chilly north wind. We had to pay the Duke £5 to park up, but were early enough to get a spot right by the beach. The children didn't play for long in the sand - they took the opportunity when the sea was (relatively) warm and spent ages jumping in the waves. As the tide was out they - and we - used a lot of energy getting there and back. We had a picnic lunch.

The blip is of them in the van on the way, and the shattered duo on the way back. When we got back they had a short rest then went out to play in the paddling pool. I hope they sleep tonight as we are shattered.
