Friend rescue

I had a quiet post holiday planned today, catching up on little jobs after our hols and generally settling in.

That all worked very well in the morning and then I was floored by a horrible bug at lunchtime out of nowhere I was suddenly feeling dreadful and being sick.

Thank goodness for my lovely friend Julie who came and rescued me and somehow managed to entertain & feed 4 children for the afternoon - hers and mine, Mary Poppins style while the doctor visited and I slept. This is one of her photos as I didn't take a single one all day.

Thankfully I managed to get the children to bed and some sleep.
