Scorching Cotswolds

What a full day we've had!

Out early this am to meet our old friend & neighbour Louise who moved to San Fran 3 yrs ago and was on a flying visit back to surprise her family. wonderful to see her & introduce her to Rosie. Happy times.

We then set off for our anniversary day out to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. What a great place. We arrived at lunchtime and picnicked in some shade after seeing a rhino and her baby and some Eagles seemingly wandering free. We walked all around the park after lunch, which is vast and saw lions, zebra, giraffes, camels and then the rhino lying in the shade feeding her baby - she looked a bit tired and I sympathise!!

We all caught the little train which circles the park - loved it and R slept through the whole trip! C finished up at the adventure playground with huge slides and loved zooming around. Ice creams and a quick look at the reptile house and we headed for the car.

What a packed day and lovely afternoon!
