Snake

Is this a ring snake or a grass snake or something else? See body in the extra.
I have no clue; can't find any decent photos to compare.
At first I thought its a blindworm, but not on a closer look.

I was out cycling (in todays heat) when I saw something moving in front of me and then it stopped. So did I: The body was on the path; the head in the grass, difficult to take a photo.
My first snake ever. It was very patient with me and gave me enough time to take photos; but they still didn't come out right. Too bad.
