Orchestral Ensemble!

What a wonderful evening of music, the Sydney Opera House and a combined ensemble of over 1000 instrumentalists, including several hundred students playing the recorder, about the same playing violin and the remainder on a variety of instruments. most of the public schools across the state were represented. Each school represented practiced their particular instruments and in the morning of the day they all came together for rehearsal. The end result in the evening was spectacular. Our granddaughter played the violin, one of hundreds. We met up for dinner prior to the performance at a restaurant alongside the harbour. the Blip is from the main steps heading towards the opera house, the second is a long shot and the third is a shot taken in the main area looking at the staging for the performance. I give congratulations to the teachers given responsibility for their students for the day, well done!
