Solo

There is only one flower on the winter aconite this winter instead of several. That’s the leaves coming through beside it.

Today almost became my first gap in more than seven years of blipping when I accidentally deleted the day’s photos from the memory card- next day! I had taken a series of fascinating massed noodle-like roots discovered when I upended the tub of rootbound strawberries. Those shots are lost, but my clever son, Aliveunwed, managed to recover some photos for the 15th that had not been overwritten, including the winter aconite. Phew!
