gathering the Bucket Trail

The Oor Wullie trail has come to an end and the statues are gathering prior to an auction of them to raise money for a children's' operating theatre at the local hospital. I don't actually like them much but they've provided a good family activity over the school holidays as they went round town to find them.
I was in town doing a few chores, there's not really much reason to go in these days - even when I want to buy things I can't usually find them (though I did find a pair of sandals in the sale).
If I'd had my camera this evening there would have been a blip of the sky at sunset from across the bridge.
When I got in from the run I madly signed up for another half marathon!
